THE
NEWCASTLE SUITE
Newcastle
is the largest of all the Bluff House Suites featuring
two bedrooms each with queen size beds one with a four
poster the other with a white ceramic queen. A spiral
staircase leads to a loft area with two twin beds. A high cathedral ceiling
supports a handsome brass chandelier of generous proportions.
Views from here are to the south east over the church
spire (the highest in Vermont). Newcastle suite and
Windsor suite may be connected if desired.
THE
WINDSOR SUITE
Windsor is the only suite that does not feature a deck
or patio. Of its inspiring height we felt a little uncomfortable
for guests with vertigo! Views from here are truly magnificent.
Look ahead out to the fields and beyond through the
Lamoille Valley for miles, to your right the ridgeline
of the Worcester Mountains is most impressive. Just
left is Mount Mansfield the highest mountain in Vermont.
Sixty feet below, roofs of every size pitch and angle
testify to the interesting inn they cover, they evoke
images of a London in the time of Dickens. The Windsor
suite can connect to Newcastle if desired.
THE
CAMBRIDGE SUITE
Enjoying the southerly aspect of Bluff House, Cambridge
has a very large walkout patio surrounded by rock gardens
with sunny views to the village. In the lounge a queen

OXFORD SUITE

to expand if desired.
THE
PLYMOUTH SUITE
On the same level as both Oxford and Cambridge, Plymouth
suite has westerly and northern views. The lounge with
its soaring cathedral ceiling opens out to a very large
deck overlooking the gardens and the heated pool. In
the distance is the llama farm and a quintessential
Vermont maple sugar house. Clouds of steam can be seen
pouring through the trees as the sap flows down for
boiling into maple syrup during the season.
THE
ARUNDEL SUITE
The southerly exposure ensures bright sunny mornings
in the Arundel suite, views to the village are lovely.
Up to four people can sleep here using the queen size

by the pretty gardens, it is very peaceful here.
THE
EDINBURGH SUITE
Here a corner deck looks both to the south and the east
over the village. The lounge with cathedral ceiling
has views in three directions. The bathroom in this
suite is larger than most, generous and very airy. To

soft and gentle light is alone priceless, food for the
soul.
THE
DOVER SUITE
Opening onto the lawns surrounding the pool and bordered
by an impressive wall of boulders ablaze with hanging
flowers, this suite is nicknamed the 'garden suite'.
Furnishings here are different to the other suites in
Bluff House. Country cottage style and ambiance the
pine furnishings are a perfect compliment to the location.
A special labor free wood stove on a terra-cotta floor
completes this lovely romantic suite.
THE
SALISBURY SUITE
At pool level the Salisbury enjoys a corner deck similar
to the Edinburgh. Again the very large bathroom is spacious
